Someone didn't listen to Simon about what curiousity did to the cat ;)
JK. Thanks for the kind words, it means a lot

Very creative and chill! Loved to experiment with different portions of spirits and see what comes out. Would have loved to have more variety but for a jam game this has been awesome with a spot-on vibe!

Very fun! Gets repetitve at some point and at some levels had most enemies and items on mountains/water with no climbing gear/slippers due to rng (I'm guessing), but other than that I found myself playing way longer than I thought I would. Good job!

Honestly didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did! Lots of games in this jam about looping around enemies but something about the mice being so quick and breaking you line constantly made it very frantic and fun. Good job!

"Daniel Mullins-style game" Is like the highest praise we could get. Thanks!

At first I thought the game froze, and then took me a few seconds of hearing "chuck woke up" before I realized what was the game about... But once I did it was funny and very polished

Wow! Great across the board! Really enjoyed learning how to played and beating the game. Wish it was somehow longer, though I'm not sure how you would go about doing that. 10/10!

Thanks so much for the kind words! Glad to hear you enjoyed it!

(1 edit)

Very cute and fun. The ending is a bit abrupt but the background music is now stuck in my head so that will probably last for a while :P

Creeped me out in the best way. I still don't really know what the numbers mean, but the vibe is immaculate

Very dumbly took hours to realize how to circle enemies but once I did... I still sucked at it! lol. Amazing visuals though and a very cool concept. Not for me but I'm sure people who are into parkour kinda games will enjoy it alot!

Very cute. Feels like a nostalgic PS2 platformer, which is impressive for a jam game!

Very cool idea and gameplay! Kinda hard to get the looping thing down correctly but feels satisfying once you do ^_^

Accidently spent my whole evening on this without noticing. Very addictive and very fun!

Very polished and well executed! Well done!

Fun and interesting! The loop was pretty slow even on fast forward but other than that the game was very enjoyable and clever!

Magical music and art design. I was enjoying them both so much I didn't notice the issue people wrote about here XD

The gameplay is also fun... Could be explained better but once you get the hang of it it makes for some very fun platforming puzzles! Would have loved a way to change the platform's loop or at the very least a reset button that didn't require going into the menu for. But otherwise very fun and cute. Wish there was more, and cudos on the sound design again!

Very cool game! Loved the art, sound and gameplay. Would love to play more levels of this!

Knowing a bit behind the scene info, it's that much more impressive you got this done in only two days.

Sure there are bugs and things that could have been done better, but cudos on having the guts to starts over, especially with such a nice outcome!

On the upside- Really charming game and artstyle! The idea of a game still in development constantly being changed in front of your eyes is fun and unpredictable, and really: who can complain about playing a piece of toast.

On the downside- It's a shame that some levels are unpassable with out one of the jump modifiers, especially since having even one of them makes all the levels super easy, so it's a choice between an unbeatable game or no challange. Also, being able to speed up the dialogue or loading time of the level would have been great. Kinda boring waiting for the conversation to slowly progress just to play a platformer... Also also- the fact that losing a level makes you progress also bums me out. Let me fail and try again!

Played this again and just... wow. Genius concept. Easy to learn and hard to master. Was thinking at first that the sound might be its only downside but after listening to that music loop for so long I feel like that is the only sound that could fit a game like this without being either annoying after a while or disruptive.

Amazing all around, truly.

Super original idea, great writing and fun game loop! Gameplay could use sometweeking and the sound was a bit loud and unpleasent at times

An incredibly original idea! This one can definitly win the jam imo. Great job!

Very impressive and polished for a jam game! The controls were smooth and fun to interact with and the vibe was spot on. Had a bit of a hard time seeing where I was going but that might be why I'm not a pilot IRL :P

Super cute art and style, and a very cute idea as well!

Loved every part of it!

Amazing game! Very fun, great art style and very original. Had a minor bug at some point where I couldn't place down a puzzle piece and had to restart the level, but that is understandable in a game jam. Great work!

Very unique and cool idea and art style. It was kind of hard to understand when you were or weren't going to hit something, so the game wasn't that fun unfortunately. But I really liked the artistic side!

Wow! Surprisingly fun and well polished. Didn't feel any of the bugs mentioned and once you get used to the controls you just fly through levels and its very fun! Wish it was longer, but that make sense due to the jam so gave it 15/15 :P

Had so many potato pots I blotted out the sun and my computer crashed. 10 out 10 would play again

Very charming but played it twice and couldn't get past Alex since giving Steve her letter doesn't change her dialogue. Sad :(

Very cute! I wish there was a way to know you actually made progress or were done with an 'objective', but it was a cool concept

Super cool game, very addictive. Wish there was more of it! Controls were a bit unintuitive but didn't hurt the fun too much!

Hey, I would love to discuss such an interview. Feel free to DM me at my Discord @_vexen

Amazing concept, gameplay and presentation. The kind of game my only complaint about is that there's not enough of it ^^

Very fun! There's a bit of an issue where intruders the are too close to the guards don't get caught (to the point where they are pushing the guard out of their patrol while the guards are looking straight at them) but other than that it was very polished and challenging ^_^

Why would you hurt me so T_T

10/10
